Rain and wind outside? That's not a problem for us! A professional sports hall, just a 10-minute drive from home, is also available for us to use.

Sitting by the campfire, you can even witness the beautiful shimmering of the Milky Way.

For animal enthusiasts, we provide numerous opportunities to explore local, but also unexpected animals. We start our journey on a real farm, home to cows, horses, and sheep. Children learn about their lives, discover interesting facts about caring for animals, and the overlooked impact these animals have on city life.

In the natural park "Bärenwald," mighty bears live in their natural habitat. Yet, a couple kilometeres away, monkeys leap among the trees In the Malchower "Affenwald" park. And if you’re more interested in plants, in the Ivenacker Eichen Park stand trees which a whole family of four wouldn’t be able to hug without letting go of each other!

Teens aged 15 to 17 - you have the rare chance to join a week-long entrepreneurship workshop led by a successful CFO of a major company!

Dirk Backhaus will teach participants important business principles and answer some common questions:

• How do I distinguish a good investment idea from a bad one?
• How do I present a business idea? ⁠How do I start a business?
• How does entrepreneurial success come about?
• How do I read a balance sheet or profit and loss statement? What should I put attention on?

To give a practical understanding, the students will be involved in the management of our organic ice cream businness.

For those interested in the details, here are some of the technical knowledge and skills students will acquire:

• Strategy concepts and tools
• Balance sheet and its analysis using key performance indicators
• Business planning and scenario analysis
• Investment decisions with the help of Payback period, Net Present Value and Internal Rate of Return calculations, leveraged and unleveraged returns

This course lasts 6 days (Sunday through Friday) four academic hours per day. The rest of the time you will spend doing normal holiday camp things, such as playing sports, doing canoe excursions, going for hikes, visiting interesting sites in the Mecklenburg Lake District, and making new friends.
