Do we have a chance to compete with gadgets for the attention of our children? Don’t worry, Schloss Leizen staff has all the time and patience in the world for your children.
… and apples!

You give them a project and then let them manage it on their own! All that was needed was a moderator board and kit, a short induction on how to use it and what we planned in the floristic project. And off they went.
In 30 minutes children planned the flower designs that they wanted to create, allocated available resources and made a plan of what they could collect from our forest to complete their creations.
Kids seem to have an innate creativity and ability to sort things logically. All they seem to need is an adult next to them to accompany them in their endeavours. At Schloss Leizen we help children identify and bring out their talents and improve their skills. Read more about learning and playing environment at Schloss Leizen.
Can you make a solar system out of that?
Yes we can!!!
Last summer the kids discovered the Solar system and learned a lot of interesting facts about its makeup! At our reunion, we decided to brush up on our knowledge and reconstruct the Solar system.
Due to obvious safety concerns, we didn’t use rocks or gas as planet building materials, but chose colourful rubber bands, styrofoam balls, dried orange slices, and, of course, apples!
This planet got its name after Roman king of gods who was also the god of the sky and the thunder. IT is known for its (at least) 69 moons and a big red “eye”. What planet is it?

This weekend just gone we had our Reunion Summercamp and one of our favourite activities was – Brussel Sprouts Forever.
We may like or dislike eating Brussel sprouts. But we enjoyed finding out how they grow (thank you Farmer Huschke)…
… and then transforming this vegetable into beautiful floristic arrangement (thanks Nina Bania from Blüten Design for the wonderful help):
